What we sell, how orders reach you, and what we will and will not claim.
JHENK sells occasion separates and evening accessories: satin blouses and camis, sequin tops, satin midi skirts, occasion trousers, clutch bags and statement earrings.
Why separates
Most evening wardrobes are built around a single dress that gets worn once. We think the better answer is a top, a skirt or trouser, and one good accessory, each of which works with the others. A satin cami goes to a wedding with a bias-cut skirt and to a birthday dinner with velvet trousers. That is the whole idea, and every piece in the shop is chosen to be mixed that way.
What the pieces are made of
We list the fibre composition on every clothing product page, and we keep the words plain. Our satin is polyester satin, or a viscose and elastane satin where a little stretch helps the fit. Our velvet is polyester velvet. None of it is silk, and we do not describe it as if it were.
Our earrings are made from brass with a gold-tone or silver-tone plating, set with glass crystal or glass pearls. Our clutch bags are satin, glass beads or metal frames, as listed on each product. We do not describe fashion jewellery as gold, silver or precious, and we do not make claims about how skin will react to any metal.
How your order reaches you
JHENK is an online store. We do not run a shop floor or our own warehouse. Orders are prepared and shipped by our fulfilment partner, and your parcel may be dispatched from outside the UK. Delivery to UK addresses is tracked and typically takes 7–15 business days from the day you order. The full details are on our Shipping and Delivery page.
What we will not do
- We do not publish reviews we cannot verify, and we do not pay for or write reviews.
- We do not show strike-through “was” prices unless the higher price is one we have genuinely charged.
- We do not make environmental or ethical claims we cannot evidence.
- We do not copy designer pieces or use other brands’ names to sell ours.
